When I filled out my profile the final section want to know my INTERESTS & after was a section called
ABOUT ME.(I believe they required 100 words minimum)
I completed that section probably using 400 or 500 words.
Here is my question;
Why is it that any profile I look at the "About Me" is never shown. Or do women not have to fill out that part of their profile.
Been here a while & this has always been in the back of my mind.

Thanks to the Internet there is a very wide choice available. With an Independent source there is no one that has any undo influence on them. Some are self financed or are viewer supported.
The most imminent issue facing the US & by extension the rest of the world is the threat of Nuclear War & your biggest issue is how poor the US system of health care is. You're way off the mark. There are so many other items that would of more concern.
As a starting point the realization that the MEDIA is owned & controlled by a handful of individuals who have their own agenda in mind. Their agenda just so happens to support the changes that the WEF (World Economic Forum - Founder Klaus Schwab) are attempting to implement. Two of their Global Shapers are your own Prime Minister Justin Trudeau & the Deputy Prime Minister Christina Freeland. Your attention would be better served by concentrating on these individuals, as their proposed changes would have a fundamental in your life style. One of their most controversial slogans from the 2016 meeting was
“You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy”

I enjoy wearing a good quality cologne myself & enjoy the same on my date. It is the last thing I put n before heading out.

A song by Donavan "wear your love like heaven" that was used for a perfume commercial a while back.

My belief is that a profile pic should primarily show your face without sunglasses or any of those animal add ons. Just a nice clear shot & then add anything you'd like just in other pics that you add. Don't be so far off in the distance that you become unrecognizable.
(shaving cream is okay on a man)
Eyes are the windows to your soul & I like to see what colour yours is.

Thought this would be a useful section to have listed so that others could add their ideas.

PHOTOS -

1) A photo with Sunglasses on is of little use, imo, unless it is part of a look that you are trying to achieve. Especially if it is your PROFILE PICTURE.
If you area person who wears glasses for vision, it is best to also include a couple that show you without your glasses on.
They say that the eyes are the windows to the Soul, so unless you are trying to hide the fact that you do not have one, then I believe this will help to increase your chances of success.

2) Showing pictures of yourself too far off in the distance are of little use, especially when you are not even recognisable. imo So it is best to make sure you are not that faraway that a person could not tell if it is you in the picture.

3) It is better to show a mix of close ups & full body shots than all of one type.

4) Don't use pictures that are years old. This can lead to very awkward first meetings. Besides it is a form of deception & that is never a good way to start off any relationship.

5) SIZE. The pictures shown on the site are already small enough. Make sure that pictures you upload are large enough, otherwise the pictures could lack definition & detail.

Unanswered Questions, that is where this all begins. In the beginning I let it go as I was excited about a new prospect, however that was a mistake as I later found out. Not answering your questions is bad sign & I don't allow myself to play that game anymore. Anyone else have this problem?
