Homme doux bonjour….La vie d'espoir est bonne. Good morning all.... Si vous le dites ma chere. Ma vie me dit d'abandonner l'espoir... Stop talking like that. Any particular reason? Because being depressing is not attractive. Oh... you understood it?! I thought you meant stop talking french. |

Of course, we should all know what our qualities are, both good and bad. And there's nothing wrong with drawing attention to your good points either, as long as they're true and honest and not "faked" to make you seem to be something your'e not but think other people think you should be. I actually really like when people think that they arn't as good at something then they really are. I make good friends with people like that, and I've always been attracted to humble women. |

Hmmmm. Maybe there needs to be an understanding between aggressive and assertive. People need to be assertive, to a certain degree, in their lives. Woman are attracted to confident, assertive men. At least this one is. As well, the issue here is men who say THEY, themselves are nice. This thread is not about men who are generally "nice". I rarely use the word, it is generic. Like Lexy said.... basically bland and meaningless. I'm looking for kind, supportive, empathetic, considerate, patient, communicative..... those words mean nice, together. My point is stop saying you're nice. Let others decide what qualities you possess and simply be YOU. It's been said over and over in this thread. Let your actions and deeds speak for themselves. Sure I completely agree. Just one question though. Although I really appreciate, as a friend or more, someone who is humble about his or her qualities and doesn't draw attention to him or herself, wouldn't you say that a person should know what his or her qualities are? I agree with the identifying one's self as 'nice' being meaningless, just wondering what you think about what I just asked. |

OK. My son loves to body board, but lacks the coordination to surf. He is so uncoordinated that he actually broke his body board in half slamming into a wave because he tripped himself going into it. Well it's not that hard to break those things. I lack the ability to stand up while surfing .. furthest I got was to my knees and I moved one foot to a standing position. sounds like what you said last night. said? or did? Whispered in my ear before doing. |

I can barely understand English at this hour .. and you're speaking French?! Vous êtes pathétique. Lol, pathétique doesn't have the same connotation in french.. It means pitiful, not pathetic That's what I get for a free translation. It still got my message across. How's your sun burn? |
