Negativity seems like the norm in this world And usually when some people post questions, they have an idea in their head of what they want people to say They look for what they were thinking I like that... In that case... Why don't they post what they think the answer is, and ask if people agree?.... Lol! Lol Their answer seems more justified if someone else says it as well I guess Human beings in general look for validation IMO |

In my experience, I have had a lot of guys say "im not like most guys...im a nice guy..." And they just think they are...and they are not I think some guys throw around that title too liberally IMO The problem is they very well may have started off as a "nice guy" but have become bitter over failed past relationships. And it is understandable to be a little bitter about past relationships for a while... But life in change...moving on...I think some people need to get past that before they enter a new relationship and drag that one down because they are thinking the "it's gonna happen again" theory But I guess that's a topic for a different thread |

well...The father of my children was my husband for 10 years, during the entire ten years I was beaten by him and he caused me to lose the twin of my daughter...I finally found an escape for myself and my five children and raised them myself...so because of the past that I have lived...does this mean I should not be allowed to find a good man and remarry? Sorry to hear that, but, um, I'm kinda thinking she means at the same time... Polygamy. That's what I took it to mean |

To Kimmie - what is it about geriatrics that makes you sad? I am in healthcare, too...it is kids and young people being ill that bothers me most. Good thing that everyone in the field seems to have a group of people they work best with and that we are not all the same, huh? I admire those who work well with kids...I just don't do it well. Definitely...we all have something that calls to us The thing about geriatrics for me...was putting myself in their position, which I try to do A lot of the vets were homeless, completely dependent on the nursing staff, and had no/little visitors It was hard for me to change diapers...not because it grossed me out, but because I felt like they were trapped Confined to a hospital In my opinion...in my shoes...that isn't a life I would want to lead |

And here I thought it was the mind logically that probably makes more sense lol, thats when a person snaps cuz they know so much mind boggling knowledge! lol but for softiez like me, its the heart. I doubt I'll be breaking my mind anytime soon. it's just the answer I thought of since I formed the question myself...cuz I was just thinking one day...how it's weird when you start liking someone so much...and then bam, they break your heart at the snap of their fingers. Had I not like the girl at all, it probably wouldn't have even cracked my heart I think it works for caring in general The more I care about my patients, my friends, family... The easier it is for me to break down when something happens Ahhhh love... sigh |

What is your favorite rum jace? Just curious... I have about 4 different ones I love that I keep handy, but my favorite is Mt Gay (don't laugh) from Barbados. It's distilled unlike any other rum and is better pure than watered (or gosh forbid, coke'd) down. Currently I have open on the liquor shelf: Malibu Pineapple, George Estates Flotine (St Maarten), Appleton Estates (Jamaican), and J.Paul Prusser's Black Label (Puerto Rico). Here's my question to you: Would you rather drive back and forth to work in a convertible with a long drive, or in a regular car with a short drive? That sounds like a good collection I had some malibu tonight...I like it because I can't taste it in coke I don't like to taste my alcohol Hmmm...I would have to pick the regular car with a short drive Convertibles are a little fancy for me...im not 2 materialistic...if it has 4 wheels I am thankful I would prefer a shorter drive also so that I could spend more time with friends and family and not have to worry about leaving a couple hours or so ahead of time Sounds cheesy...but very true |
