While it is true that there are viruses for Linux, He has a point that the low number of target Linux machines keeps the virus writers from writing as much for it.
That being said, as I understand it, the default Linux setup with root and user accounts being separate helps minimize the damage a virus infection by one user could wreak on the whole system. |

I've been running Ubuntu for a couple of year now. Right now I have one Linux Machine, and one Windows machine. The Windows machine runs Media center as a Tivo machine, Play a couple of games, and those few websites that will not accept being accessed from anything not running windows. (I'm looking at you NetFlix, one of the reasons you got cancelled.)

That's why people like me would wait until the next day for the craziness to subside. Waves of humans are not funny. i cant wait i get too anxious Just gotta unwrap the presents as soon as you get them? Hmmm. I'll have to keep that in mind for later.

Maybe they're waiting for the storm to die down so they can see what buildings are still standing! rofl no they just like to procrastinate. and yup everything is always posted online. can you imagine if 300 had to line up at a class room door to get their grade? it'd be mass craziness That's why people like me would wait until the next day for the craziness to subside.
