It's a safety meeting. All managers and asst. managers have to attend. Just someone talking and a bunch of videos Wear a kick-a$$ pants/jacket outfit...nothing sexy, just VERY professional. You are practicing for getting OUTTA THERE and you need to feel like you don't fit in with sloppy dressers, etc. You'll love the mental boost it gives you. If someone comments on you being dressed so nicely just say thank you...NO explanations. Let them wonder :) I know that most will be in uniform, they will be coming from their stations. So just about anything will do. I think I will go with something that will make them not know what they are going to be missing |

I have an interview on Tuesday afternoon for a job I'd really like. The interviewer is someone I've worked with and been friends with for 10 years. The juxtoposition of this relationship is a little weird... how can I make the transition best and score high on the interview in terms of professionalism without making it seem like I'm disregarding the long-standing friendship/coworker relationship we've had? Any advice? Or should I just be my natural self and let the chips fall where they may? I would think just be natural and let the chips fall, they already know you so what can you do. It might look like something else otherwise. Sorry JAG, had to put my 2 cents worth in. |

Why am I having such a hard time thinking of questions? ...and mine usually have NOTHING to do with relationship advice (have to HAVE one to have questions, right???) and mine seem to have something to do with my "babies", not the type of relationship that you would look on a dating site for |
