actually what got this thread started was the avatar used by a mingle member that is of John Wayne Gacy jr. a very sadistic and demonic individual that sexually tortured and later murdered young men in his house...all the while posing as a friendly clown at the local childrens hospital...

I have actually dated someone 13 years younger and we were together for over 2 years. I broke up with him because he wanted to have a child and I couldn't...so I set him free to do that. He actually still calls me and we have been split for 11 years now.

Im kind of in the same boat...Im 17 years older than my fella, and the child issue is a serious theme that may split us apart..I already had my family and he has a right to have his if its what he wants...

Ive seen a lot of men using the portraits of serial killers, pedophiles and other societal dredges and I wonder what is the point? what message are they trying to convey on a dating site??

Personally speaking, I wouldnt date or even consider emailing anyone who did that..its just too freaking creepy...
