YAY! Thanks Tanya! Aren't you in school too? As soon as I submit my finals, I will have a masters degree. I am done for a while (a few years) and then I'll go back to get a PhD or possibly a law degree. That is awesome! Congrats!!

Good Job Lady! Stick to it honey. I remember my mom going through her schooling in her 40's ...I gots nothing but respect. Look at the positives....at least you aint trying to study with raging hormones! (I am amazed kids can even think straight) Thanks Krupa! Yeah and it's a good thing I haven't hit menopause yet either! That would NOT be good! LOL

I survived and passed my first semester in the RN program with B's!! I am soooo happy and so relieved that this semester has come to an end and with my passing it! It is not easy going to school to become an RN AND work full time but I made it! Now just 5 more semesters to go... sheesh... Some nursing hints: Do NOT wash the thermometers in hot soapy water. Do not attempt to take an anal temperature if they have hemorrhoids. Check for a pulse BEFORE their bath. I give you these as a gift from my nurses-aide work in college :-) Congrats!! LOL thanks! I'll keep all of those in mind! I must have poked that old lady in the oxygen tent 50 times looking for an opening :-) They laughed so hard over the themometers, they forgave me. I am very literal. Okay, I am still not over the dead guy. Well at least he was clean when they picked him up! But yeah.. that would be rather traumatic for sure!

Congrats!!! I have an appt tomorrow with a counselor for taking courses in Medical Assisting. Cool! I'm actually a medical assistant now and work for an internal meds doctor. I like my job but I wanted to do more and to some day make more money doing what I do! Good luck and I hope it all works out for you!

It'll be over before ya know it girl-keep up the good work and treat yourself for the what you've done so far! congrats I actually have a friend that's treating me to a trip to Indianapolis this weekend! I've never been there... so not sure if it's a treat or if this southern girl is gonna freeze my buns off! Although it's been down in the teens here in Alabama this week some!
