Clean an IRON? Huh?! You are supposed to clean those things? Thats almost as pointless as cleaning the toilet! Just buy a new one.

Outside, just scrub. Inside add vinegar and run the steam for a bit...then rinse rinse rinse. But, irons are cheap, could just buy a new one. THANKS, SO WHITE VINEGAR WILL DO.

Hmmmmmm, when mine gets sticky stuff on it (how does that happen anyow?) I just usually give up and buy a new one. You might try a mr. clean magic eraser.

I USE A WIRE WHEEL , GRINDER OR WIRE BRUSH TO CLEAN IRON FOR WELDING........ BUT I USE MY IRON TO STRAIGHTEN MY CLOTHES
