Shadow, for this one, I have to totally agree with you on it. Where I come from there's an unspoken rule amognst the guys, you never, ever go after their ex, or who they are with, or who they want to be with, it's just total respect. I never understood why people would do things like that, but I guess to each their own.

Devil, honey, regardless of the war being right or wrong, you were sent on a mission to do a job and follow orders given by your superiors. You did your job and completed your mission. War is never ethical in any sense of the word. It is easy for those of us at home to make judgements and cast stones, but until any of us have walked a mile in your shoes we really should keep our mouths shut. You didn't have a whole lot of options over there. You did what you had to in order to survive. You are a survivor of this war.....God bless you.

you are a true marine, you don't think that stuff happened in ww1 ww2! i've got some stories for you. and equally gruesome stuff i've been through in central america, but these were orders. we see it and the brass will live with it in hell later.... thanks for the bush statement that was kind of you! |
