I'm getting about 1450fps from my 41, the max recommended by the Sierra reloading book.

In a 6x47 (6mm in an expanded 222mag case) I was right around 3200 - 3250 fps.

But that was cramming the case full - 29.5 gr.

I had guessed you were packing it full, still some impressive numbers

I've only reloaded for my 41 mag, what a difference from factory loads. I've been thinking about loading a few for my Mini 30, but don't know if it would make as much difference there.

I know of only 2 people that have that much land and don't mind me shooting, but your right it is hard to come by.
