I am in the process of starting a walk for the cure for lung cancer here in pittsburgh pa and hopefully will be able to have it go outside of pittsburgh.i lost my father 3 long years ago to lung cancer and it being a top killer i believe that we need to find a way to research more on diagnosing this disease at a early stage.most lung cancer when detected is already in an advanced stage before you realize you have it.my father came down with flu like symptoms and that is how it was detected.i will be having a walk for a cure for lung cancer held on fathers day every year.anyone interested please contact me.thank you and have a great day! Hey when you start your walk, make sure you wear that bathing suit, I'm sure you will get a lot of raises and donations I just reread what I wrote and I am sorry . It looks as if I came off uncaring, and that is not the case. I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. I lost my dad a few years ago as well. Sometimes maybe I ought to think before I try to say something funny...Again I apollogize no apology needed i am so sorry to hear of your loss!

That is really awsome. I lost my father to kidney cancer in December 2003 and know how you feel. My Aunt also had one of her lungs removed last year due to lung cancer. I really wish you the best with your walk, and I always donate part of my tax return to the american cancer society. i am so sorry for your loss and i wish your aunt the very best.its nice to hear a survival stort since they are not often.how kind of you to donate.thanks again hun.

I hope thousands join you in your efforts to find cures and new treatment for lung cancer! thank you so much and i hope that this will be a start to support those who have lost the battle those who are fighting it now and the many who will be diagnosed.thanks again hun.

good for you hun..yeh lost mum and gran to cancer...my sister did a parachute jump for it ...it helps to feel like you are doing something ...such a bad disease hun i am sorry for your loss hun i also lost my mom to breast cancer in 94 she was only 44 yrs young so i do the walk every year for her but it just seems that lung cancer is not recognized as much as breast,colon ect...and it is a top killer.thank you for responding hun

Thank you,i just want to try to help others not to have to go thru the heartbreak that i have been thru as any cancer when it is advanced leaves ones self to just deteriate and that breaks everyones heart.my father was a very handsome well built man who when he died weighed all but maybe 90 pounds and i believe that we have cures available.
