I officially started my final semester of nursing school. I graduate as an RN on May 2. I had class M, T, and W, then on Thursday I got sick, went to the doc, and was told that I have mono, tonsilitis, and strep throat. I am now lying in bed, loopy off of meds and lack of sleep. I havent eaten in 3 days because it feels like I am swallowing razorblades.
BUT! other than that...pretty uneventful week. lol

Congragulations on that final semester Madi..I graduated May 06, so I KNOW what you are going through...heal up, and Good Luck!flowerforyou
OOps..on topic, I quit my job as a rehab nurse cuz I have two little boys and havent seen them for weeks..Im gonna have to take a nursing home job...grumble only way to get first shift as a nurse. 2nd doesnt cut it with kids, and I cant do third! I'm generally confused yet always amused, and I am proud to be a big supporter of perverted women... unless there's intense pain, stinky waste material, or foul tasting bodily fluids involved... generally speaking

I think we need a definition of "perversion"...because the above 3 are all OUT of the question..but I might consider myself, well, heck, I liked the BAWDY definition..laugh  devil

Honesty is the best policy.

YOU are gonna tell her that she looks like crap??????noway

and you gonna end up in intensive care for certain
laugh laugh laugh

You can tell her that she looks better in other outfits.
You don't have to be BRUTALLY honest....just honest. Trust me that hour in the doghouse is worth it instead of being there for a week.

Okay..so heres a subtle way...Do I look fat in this dress? Hell no, but honey, that pink number you have makes you look sooo gooooood...

Respectfully, to all the ladies on JSH, perhaps you can enlighten we males on answers to questions that you ask that always get us in trouble.
such as:

"How do I look?"
"What would you like for dinner?"
"Do I look fat in this skirt/blouse/pants/dress?"

Just post all those sorts of questions here and, then, please, give us the appropriate response to keep us out of trouble. Guys, post those questions that you have been asked and had the wrong answer. I am certain that the ladies will supply us with the correct response to keep us out of the doghouse.noway

Okay...How do I look? "Baby..you always look good to me.."
"what would you like for dinner?"..."I dont know babe...I do/dont feel like cooking..do you? Wanna go out, or maybe order in?"
Do I look fat in this skirt/blouse/pants/dress? Personally, I would rather have my baby say...oh, honey...thats not the best look for you. But..we had to battle that out. Seriously..dont let me walk around looking like like a fat ass!
BUT...for the majority of the female population..."Jesus, honey, are you kidding? You look fiiiinee..."
That is, if you are really asking for the response that will keep your butt out of trouble.
JMHO...but those three WILL work.

Hey Repo, its great! How you doing? The state is going to make sure they get their $$...no matter how little benefits you ever got. Its ridiculous...and the thing is, they are not going to give her the $$ to put into any account...they keep it to 'pay back' the help they gave you...it doesnt work the way you are thinking lilith. IF ONLY!
I had to sit through a three hour seminar for the benefits for my son, even though none of it applied to me...and they penalize the moms who work...and a monthly stipend for a family of 3 in maine? Guess how much? 482.00. To live on. For the month. Whoo Hoooo! so much for sitting at home being a welfare mom, huh?

Yeah, my son has aspergers syndrome, and my regular insurance doesnt cover the services needed, so state services come into play. Not like I have a choice in the matter...Gee, sorry honey, Im to proud to accept help for your autism...frown
YEAH...RIGHT...
Whats a mom supposed to do?
In Maine they get involved even if the dad IS paying, they take over the payments...and for the poor moms struggling to make ends meet...if they make a paycheck, they deduct that amount from their child support.

Yup, the state decides whether or not to go after daddy, except in maine, if you can prove it will endanger your life or your childrens...its required in Maine! I never tried to get any $$ from the loser,,good luck to them...LMAO...

intelligent? Able to stand up for your beliefs without getting angry, can occasionally throw a five letter+ word into the conversation...LOL...like candid, or intuitive, or cliche..
JMHO...
