I don't give a chit what or how anyone thinks about the way I look.
I am happy with the way I look and if someone can't deal with that it is their loss not mine. I am not changing who I am or what I look like to fit some stereotype of what a woman should look like. I am "real" and alot of guys are finding that attractive now adays. Cool beans for me!...LOL... ![]() |

Woman/Man poem...LOL

WOMAN'S POEM
Before I lay me down to sleep, I pray for a man, who's not a creep, One who’s handsome, smart and strong One who loves to listen long, One who thinks before he speaks, One who'll call, not wait for weeks. I pray he's gainfully employed, When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed. Pulls out my chair and opens my door, Massages my back and begs to do more. Oh! Send me a man who'll make love to my mind, Knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?" I pray that this man will love me to no end, And always be my very best friend. MAN'S POEM I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with huge boobs who owns a liquor store and a golf course. This doesn't rhyme and I don't give a sh*t. |

Feelings
I'll never understand this. My feelings for you of love. They struck me without warning. From heavens up above. I've tried to protect myself, by not letting them in. And without any warning, these feelings they begin. Blinded by a passion, a look, a touch, a kiss. And in my mind I think of you. It's only you I miss. Now it's time to close my eyes. and pretend that you are near. Until next time I see you. my heart will keep you here. Cyn 1997© |

I can remember when I was in elemetary school. My step dad had gotten a raise so he went out and bought us a brand new 25 inch Zenith color consol TV. We were the oNLY ones in the apt. complex to have one that big. So my mom had arranged with all of the parents of our friends that they could come over right after school, b4 chores or homework & watch Speed Racer on the big color TV... Man that was soooo cool! Mom has a pic. of like 15 - 20 kids sitting around the small living room watching it. You can even make out the front of speed racers car on the tv in the pic...LOL True story!

You had a crush on one of the New Kids on the Block members. You wanted to be on Star Search. (Come on, we all did) You can remember what Michael Jackson looked like before his nose fell off. You wore a banana clip or one of those slap on wrist bands at some point during your youth. You wore French rolls on the bottom of your splatter painted jeans. You had slouch socks, and puff painted your own shirt at least once. You owned a doll with 'Xavier Roberts' signed on it's butt. You know the profound meaning of ''Wax on, Wax off.'' You can name at least half of the members of the elite ''Brat Pack.'' You can remember watching Full House and Saved by the Bell for endless hours!!!!!! You have seen at least 10 episodes of Fraggle Rock. You know that another name for a keyboard is a ''Synthesizer.'' You hold a special place in your heart for ''Back to the Future.'' You know where to go if you ''Wanna go where everybody knows your name.'' You thought Molly Ringwald was REALLY cool. (Was there an 80's movie she WASN'T in?) You know what ''Sike'' means. You fell victim to 80's fashion: big hair, crimped, combed over to the side, and you wore spandex pants You wanted to be a Goonie - (hey u guyz!!) You owned an extensive collection of Cabbage Patch Kids and trolls. You actually saw Ted Danson as the MacDaddy he played ''Sam'' to be. You ever wore fluorescent -neon if you will clothing...(or nail polish) You could break dance, or wished you could. (I said hip hop....) You remember when ATARI was a state of the art video game system. (Remember Pong) You know all the words to ''Ice Ice Baby''. You remember MC hammer well. You can still sing the rap to "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" You own any cassettes. You were led to believe that in the year 2000 we'd all be living on the moon. You remember and/or own any of the CareBear Glass collection from PizzaHut. Poltergeist freaked you out. You carried your lunch to school in a Gremlins or an ET lunchbox. You have ever pondered why Smurfette was the ONLY female smurf. You wanted to communicate with some being named Cinergy. You wanted to have an alien like Alf living in your house. You wore biker shorts underneath a short skirt and felt stylish. You wore tights under shorts and felt stylish. You ever had a Swatch Watch. You actually spent countless hours trying to perfect the care-bear stare. You remember when Saturday Night Live was funny. You had Wonder Woman or Superman underwear. You wanted to be The Hulk for Halloween. You Believed that ''By the power of Greyskull, you HAD the power'' You thought that Transformers were more than meets the eye. Partying ''like it's 1999'' seemed SO far away!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can identify with at least half of this list then you, my friend, are a ''Child of the 80's.'' |

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes. Then after that trauma, our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paints. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking. As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat. We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle. We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this. We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank soda pop with sugar in it, but we weren't overweight because WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING! We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on. No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K. We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, We had Atari & NES/Super NES! No 99+ channels on cable, no video tape movies, no surround sound, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or Internet chat rooms...WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them! We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents. We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever. We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them! Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that! The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law! This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever! The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ALL. And YOU are one of them! CONGRATULATIONS! You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated our lives for our own good. And while you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave their parents were. Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn't it? |
