Yes there are cycles. From cold to hot and hot to cold during the long history of the Earth, but that's not a good thing. It obviously resulted in the mass extinction of many species. Also don't forget that many of these changes were caused by factors outside of the Earth such as meteors.

The main question now is whether Global Warming is influenced by humans and most scientists will say that it is. Humans have increased the Carbon Dioxide concentration in the atmosphere by 40% in the past 150 years which is huge and is also marked by a proportional increase in temperature.
http://www.skepticalscience.com/quantifying-the-human-contribution-to-global-warming.html
This explains the 40% increase in CO2 concentration.

This chart records the temperature changes within the past 150 years. http://www.planetseed.com/files/uploadedimages/Science/Earth_Science/Global_Climate_Change_and_Energy/global_temp3.jpg

You can clearly see the relationship between the green house gasses and temperature changes.

While people can still say, "but it could be because of a natural climate change and that correlation does not imply causation", we have a good understanding of how these gasses work and the data match up really well with this understanding.

It's ok if you close out the wrong one.
These processes are encoded to start up with the start of the computer which means that even if you close out the wrong one and the computer crashes, restarting it will make it seem like nothing happened.

There's no need to worry. I've been doing this since I was 5.

btw, how many processes are running?

It's ok if you close out the wrong one. Anything you close out will be restored when you restart your computer.
You mentioned that there's a lot of running processes right? That's most likely the problem.

Close out all of them except SYSTEM and explorer.exe and Network.
This may be different between OS's.

First try closing out everything with your login name except explorer.exe

Do you have skype? I would be much easier if I just told you which should be closed out.

Go to your processes from task manager and close everything out except SYSTEM processes and explorer.exe
You may have 50 - 100 or more processes. Once you reach around 30, it should be much faster.

If that solves the problem, go to msconfig and turn off the unnecessary services/startup programs.

Is the internet slow and the programs are fast or is EVERYTHING slow?
If everything is slow and it happened all of a sudden, it could be that:
1. Virus, Spyware, Malware
2. Your anti-virus program if you have one is doing a scheduled scan
3. Your computer is overheating
4. Disk fragmentation, Registry errors, limited Hard drive space

If your computer is still slow after being turned off for a while, then it's most likely Viruses, spyware, or malware.
If your computer has gradually become slow, then it is most likely #4.

So does any of these match up?

I don't think it would be fair to generalize for a select few. I also don't think the blame is on one person either or one one gender.
Most families I know are good/balanced so the generalization doesn't match my environment at all.

I think we are debating based on different definitions of subliminal messages. This definition/explanation I got from Wikipedia explains how I understand it:
"A subliminal message is a signal or message embedded in another medium, designed to pass below the normal limits of the human mind's perception. These messages are unrecognizable by the conscious mind, but in certain situations can affect the subconscious mind"

As far as I can tell, things like colors, shapesm or music (without words) directly influences our emotions, but there isn't a secondary message embedded in it, therefore it's not a subliminal message.

What would be considered a subliminal message is if sounds such as "I want to buy a hamburger" were played very quietly during a commercial. That becomes the second message which we can't consciously hear but if we can hear it, it is no longer a subliminal message. These subliminal, messages have been proven to be ineffective which is why I say subliminal messages don't work.

No ideas? Is it like looking at a Polymorphic Virus? Words can't describe the horror?

do you watch bleach because Chappi is one of the gikon that Rukia uses to switch into a death God.

While it's considered immoral, in case you're left with no options and no help, I suggest torrenting a copy of Vista (though I suggest XP or Windows 7).
A torrented OS usually comes with a keygen or crack that will generate a key. In many cases it's precracked so you will not need to enter a key.

True. Time is big. Though time is pretty general.

Humans can live till about 100, Sturgeon fish for about 300, A fly for a few days or weeks, and trees for thousands of years.

There has to be something more to aging that is manipulable.

I didn't read any of the comments but yes, I agree.

There's isn't enough concrete evidence to back it up. There are statistics that show an increase in sales due to what they claim is subliminal message, but people can consciously see the flashed advertisement. If they can see it at all, then it's no longer subliminal.

I have no clue how I look. It's Not good from encounters with middle school. I didn't have much interaction in high school (except with my books), and people automatically assume I'm smart in college so I guess nerd would be my biggest characterization but nerd as in good or bad?
Thanks!
I have 2 pics. One with long hair and one with short hair.

What do you remember when I ask "what was the design on your wooden table"?
I'm sure that unless you consciously looked at your table to check out different patterns on it, you wouldn't have a clue.

If you can think back, How long have you lived in your parent's house and after 10 years of living there say, wow I didn't realize what was there?

All of these things happen to me because I wasn't paying attention to it even though my senses detected it. There was no sign of a "subconscious mind" committing information into memory.

I've tried subliminal learning as well as by many other scientists, and tests show absolutely no retention level at all. I think the only reason people still use the claim that messages can directly move into our subconscious mind and change us is because we don't really know what a "subconscious mind" is. It's much like how many physicists as Neil De Grasse Tyson described, use different dimensions as an excuse for phenomena they don't understand. It's also how many religions use paradoxes to prevent people from questioning because it's a futile and endless procedure.

What do you think is the cause for aging?
I've studied a bunch but none of them yet takes the cake on the depth needed to cure aging. I think these categories explain aging in general, but what we need to work on now is the therapeutic part of aging.
- Telomere Theory
- Rate of Living Theory
- Hormone Disregulation Theory
- Free-Radical Theory
- DNA Mis-Repair Theory
- Programmed Aging
- Extra-cellular Junk
- Non-replaced Aged Cells in G0 Phase
- Error-Catastrophe Theory
- Wear and Tear Theory
These are just a few I can remember off the top of my head

Feel free to add your interpretation of these theories, create new hypotheses, and any other interesting new research done on aging.
