Hey this is a poem of mine. I write once in a while and am always trying to improve. So if people want to write down some ways I can improve on my writting and let me know they get it I would appreciate it. If you don't understand any parts or how they connect LET ME KNOW. I want to write for other people so if they can't understand what I've written that kind og defeates what I'm going for.

A Moments Pain a Moments Joy

We thought we thought and so we thought we were.
What were we?
Just animals that hid from the winds.
Though, that makes sense since the cold can kill.
Will we regret it when we remember that the heat can also?
Burn or freeze
Two choices one result.
When the wind whips across the fields
look to those trees at its border.
They are shielded by the same snow that buffets them.
They do not comfort themselves in that moment.
Of course they can't,
But there is many a tree older than men.

Yeah, one of those movies you kind of have to be familiar with the older alian and predator movies to apreciate. Or the video game. Almost forgot that.

Now I'm an embarrased dork but thanks *they have no thumbs up smily... damn it...*

Omg me my brother are going to see that movie as our christmas get together. ah... I'm such a dork... Oh well

I'm a huge fan of World of Warcraft. I have a couple family members that play it so it's fun to just hop on when I can and quest with them

Aww common. It's a general tactic No one way will work all the time. Most people would smile back at someone who smiled at them. Who knows! If shes upset a smile might just be all that she needs. But yes, I will agree, some people really get involved in their issues and can get lost in their head. That's why we forgive

Start with a smile. If she doesn't return it don't bother with her. If she does then you'l know she's at least polite

That's good that you didn't because its anoying as hell lol If you do get mail from them it really is subjective as to weather or not its spam. It's a good poem anyway Keep it up.

If you want to get some poems published rod you can always try poetry.com. They have a contest, you can enter that and you don't need to go any further with the compitition after that if you don't want to. Basicaly they'l send you an E-mail or letter in the mail asking to publish your poem if they like it (it really isn't hard to get excepted so I'm sure you can do it ) It's free so thats cool. There are a couple downsides though. You can only enter one poem within a certain time frame and you'l get "spam / mail" if they like your poem. The reason I call it spam / mail is because it'l change depending on the opinion of the person who gets it. What they are basicaly is letters that say you've won an award of some kind and they wan't you to purchase it... which to me isn't an award its a product but whatever So yeah, if you give them concent to publish your poem it'l be in a book... and out there somewhere... they'l then give you the option of buying the book your poem is in This is the only FREE way I know to get your poems published but if you do a google search you can find all kinds of places willing to pulish. The only thing they may ask is that you have a certain amount of poems written. GL
