...I babbled on unintelligible words for myself, absolutely senseless sounds of power that had remained calm deep in my memories. The words were, at first, a blur of vowels that became a blur of colours turning and turning around with every spin of my head.
-Focus- I thought with my physical being- but besides the dizziness there was also this awful pain getting through my chest. The acute thin red-hot spear had stabbed my left breast. Pain. The dainty silky fabric of my soak melted to part of my skin while I tried to pull out the weapon in my chest... it was useless. I fell to my knees being able to stand on my feet no more, trying hard to catch my breath... useless. The iron sweet taste of blood was now coming up through my throat. Now there was a deep hazyness and nausea besides the pain... no more sounds of power came to my mind. I besought the Goddess not to let me die just now, I don't think she could listen to me for my powers to call her were drying into the soil along with a million claret drops of blood.
