I live in Washington and didn't know I had an accent, sorry. Have talked to people in Idaho and didn't notice an accent either, unless they moved there from somewhere else. Figured we were just a "plain Jane" state without any accents unless people moved in from outside the state. The farther east you go I would imagine you could pick up an accent and south, of course. But the west coast is pretty boring accent-wise I thought, Oregon and California too. I know how you feel. I always thought washington was the area WITHOUT a dialect. it isnt though...no state is....all of them have an accent...it just depends on if you can catch it or not.... |

What does an accent from those areas sound like i have no clue... I dated a girl from green bay... is that the same accent? i have no idea if it is or not....but ive been told i have an accent.....and brett im sure you have one of those hot southern accents |

I live in Washington. Dont really notice any dialect changes until i hit Eastern Idaho. Its alright to a point. i dated a guy who was from washington then montana then moved here and said i had a strong accent....haha |

If you pamper a cow, do you get spoiled milk?
You know the signs on restaurant doors? No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service? what if someone goes in with No Pants? Would the restaurant still have to serve them? Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized? If you get chemo-therapy do you lose your pubic hairs? Would you die if you didn't pee? How's come people tell you to stay a kid for as long as you can. Yet the moment you do anything childish or immature they tell you to grow up. If you can see your breath outide on a cold day, could you see your fart If Hooters were to become a door-to-door service would they have to change their name to Knockers? |
