My hope is we find solutions to raise all boats, but highly unlikely. Primary ethics like a lack of mutual respect are at the root of American poverty. The small business owners I know will only be hurt, like my local tobacconist( yes, it's still legal). Square up with greed on the high end and apathy on the low and we might get somewhere. They say you can't legislate morality, but you can teach it, practice it, and hold everyone accountable. Love thy neighbor or at least be humble, just, and a decent role-model.

What countries were the majority of the hijackers from? Why weren't they dealt with? - Following the logic from a non-conspiracy standpoint makes even less sense. So let's also then ask why haven't we been pursuing a diplomatic understanding with Muslim cultures? So before 9/11 we were utter klutz's but since we have seen no activity of such sophistication. Yes, there were train bombings but what else? Are we to believe that pro US capital overseas is more secure than our own airports? - I don't need CT to see that something is wrong and I'm not sure it's Islam. I just don't buy that with all the years of Cold War preparation we were caught with our pants down. That ain't cocky, we find Soviet spies but can't track known terrorists. That could have been working for post Cold War affiliates? It's funny how one can take such facts on the surface but then turn around and know about code words and imply racism. You catch my drift? |

Such hypocrisy, Drones have been active for the last 20+ years. The no fly zones used by the USA during operation "desert storm" killed countless lives in Iraq. That program was in direct "seasoning" and precurser to the later war in Iraq. Desert Storm was intiated by Papa Bush, second phased by both Clinton Administrations, followed up by little Bush and completed by Obama. The Drone program is nothing new. Its interesting that its an issue today. It did not all of a sudden become wrong in 2013 when its been in practice since 1991. Pure political hypocracy. The no fly zone over Iraq lasted 13 years of not only droneing and targeted killings, but air bombardments, 13 years worth. All before 911.Political hypocrisy at its best. Perhaps in this narrow field. There are those who see the problems for what they are, without political or racial bias. I understand your protest and agree that this office takes it's share of the blame from the past. What I'd like to see is mutual respect here, and clear headed solutions to the problems presented. We may live comfortable lives despite all the signs. We need to focus on a better world for generations to come. Can we do that divided? |

Sure. I could live with being on the endangered species list with a few of us kept in a sort of zoo. It's kind of a fantasy of mine!
