Then again i believe in both, i dont rely on visual and factual evdience all the time, i have faith.... And I can respect that, I just personally don't believe it. In the bible, it tells people to beware of people "false prophets" must i continue? If they all say they are right, only 1 is truth. 1 or none. The only way to be 100% sure is for God himself to personally tell everyone, at the same time (so we know it's not some sort of con job), what he really wants. I understand this and i respect you for doing so, im talking about doing things on a "Blind Believe" spur of the moment like you called it, not volunteering, doing somthing and i didnt understand why at the time i did it. much different I do spur of the moment things too, the only difference is that you do it because of your faith in God, I do it because of my faith in the inherent goodness of people. I am more than well aware of this but if you were a burglar and you had a choice between two identical houses, one locked up with an alarm and security guards and the other with an open door and no security at all, which one are you going to go for? Banks are not 100% secure either, do you prefer to bank somewhere with great security as it makes the probability of your money being stolen lower or do you keep your money in a bank with no security at all except maybe some mickey mouse safe? Im agreeing with you, im talking about the probability vs the panic. its not even, people are very afraid of viruses and spyware, when they shouldnt be, GRANTED it can happen as you put it, and i know this. Probability that your house gets robbed, again i lived at my mothers house for 21 years, and 3 months at my home.. never got robbed. other people get robbed once a month.. |

Moses said God gave him 10 commandments, when he was all alone, do you believe that? Do you really think some almighty being picked someone, asked him to go where no one could hear what they were talking about and then confided in him and him alone? If I told you God spoke to me and said that he didn't want any more religions because he was sick of what people were doing in the name of religion, would you blindly believe me? There's no proof that Jesus rose from the dead. Maybe he was in a coma. Maybe it was a publicity stunt. Maybe he didn't exist. There's ample proof that those two cities were nuked u did u acted as though you experienced the atom bomb... did you watch it happen? Did it happen? =) see my point.. the amble proof is? please tell me you seen the proof cause movies books whatever is the same as what my God offers and u try this down no problem. Your not a christian so no i wouldnt expect you to believe that. I have went up to people i never met and give them money on a "blind belief", these people immediatly started crying saying they have been praying for way to pay a bill. Blind belief? God? ill stick with what works. Go and re-read it, I didn't say that at all. Did you see Jesus rise from the dead? Did you? Actually, I am a Christian, I was baptised , had communion and confirmation etc. Are you so sure that Catholicism is correct? If every religion on the planet says that they are right about God, and they all differ, then is it just possible that some (or all) of them are full of rubbish? I work with charities for Downs Syndrome children, I've done work with other charities too, I just don't do it because of belief in God, just that I believe that we can, and should, be good to one another. ok i have a question that i have gotten many different answers from many different preachers an followers of the god. on the six day god created adam then he took a rib from adam an made a woman for adam so he would have a companion to comfort him. they bare 2 sons cain an able. so when they went out to find a wife where did the people come from remember there were only 2 on earth so where were all these other people an when were they created? it baffles me . I'm not sure where they came from but if this story is true it explains the stupidity of people (from inbreeding) and homosexuality (lets face it, it's not like Cain and Able had much choice!) its only wrong becasue society says it is =).. Humanity at this time actually didnt cause the defects it causes today, this is actually science.. |

Being careful of how you surf the net & not opening emails unless you know who theyre from & you actually dont need antiviruses. Not true, all you have to do is be connected to the web (not even surfing, just broadband on and working) and they can do a buffer overflow attack (amongst other things) and run pretty much whatever the hell they want on your machine. you fail to realize that most hackers arnt hacking your computer.... if you were a hacker would u hack your comp? If I wanted to control it to use in a DDoS attack which I can make a lot of money from then hell yes, I will as they are soft targets. your right, but your not thinking in the mindset of a hacker, it takes too much time per computer, instead they put them in programs and have people ok the install... No, it doesn't. They can script using python and other languages to start attacking computers at a given IP range and they walk away and have lunch , the script does all the work. And home computers are great targets for another reason, they can get credit card details, they can using pharming and phishing attacks better (just edit the hosts file and they can re-direct you to pretty much any site they like). So protect people from this, actually hack my computer... would u like my ipaddress =) |

quantum physics change and will never be consistent, things change. The bible however doesnt nor does God. =) The bible can't change, it's an ancient doctrine. But according to the Bible, God did change. In the Old Testament God told people to seek revenge and kill sinners and heathens. In the New Testament God told people to forgive people and turn the other cheek. It's a picture of a schizophrenic God that can't make up its mind. Highly undependable, and therefore untrustworthy. 
hes been pretty consistent with me, i dont think hes the trouble. Again this is just how i diagnose problems, when i fix computers, find out whats working and go from there. |

I wouldn't say carry a gun, if you want to use the computer analogy then maybe take the guns out of the hands of those that misuse them OR make your house gun proof! That would be impossible to do and you know this... Really? If it's possible to put a gun in someone's hand you don't think it's possible to take it away? You don't think it's possible to make a house gun proof? You don't think it's possible to make computing safe? These are all possible, what's lacking is the desire to make them happen. If you KNOW all the ways possible to attack a system then you can protect against them. Windows code is notoriously badly written (read Code Complete, supposedly required reading for all Microsoft programmers). weeds illegal and people still get thier hands on it, to be rather honest, impossible to stop as well as impossible to stop the hackers.... computing is too public to keep it 100% safe... the problem with a safe system is it never is safe.. Think of a house, every wire that runs out side in the WWW is a back door and never can be 100% safe.. Shoot even with a firewall and Anti virus software ur not safe, u know this. |

and opps one the quick launch your right... ill change that free programs provide more, true. at the expense of your ram. Look at AOL, they have thier own firewall virus scanner spyware scanner running do u know how much resources this takes? plus AOl itself? and these people still get unwanted programs on thier computer becasue they have allowed it... Ive fixed many computers... same problems, too much security not enough common sence about the software they are using. and for this i recommend the basics. |
