The people of Gaza are enduring a seventh straight day of bombing by the Apartheid State of Israel. Drones and fighter jets constantly hover in the sky above Gaza, indiscriminately firing on the innocent civilians below. Gaza is a virtual prison blockaded on all sides by Israeli troops, tanks and gun boats. Already reeling from the effects of this decade and a half long blockade, the people now have to deal with this latest Israeli onslaught while continuing to fight Covid-19, doing this while medical supplies remain scarce owing to Israel’s blockade. Just today the main power plant in Gaza was shut off, leaving millions in the dark. While last night the Israeli Navy restricted access to Gaza’s fishing grounds, robbing many Palestinian fishermen of a livelihood. The State of Israel is not a normal country! Much like Apartheid South Africa Israel is a barbaric colonialist project based on the genocide of the native peoples and the robbery of their natural resources. Israel must be shunned, Israel must be boycotted! Palestinians could have peace overnight if they did not insist that ALL the land is theres and Israel should be destroyed. They have not and will not do so.Instead the Islamists elements of Palestine have driven out the christian Palestinians. Islam dictates that once a territory has been taken over by Islam it always belongs to Islam. Therefore Israel is not a legitimate State. The same is true for the Balkans, Greece and Spain. Hi Jisparticus, do you not think that it was Israel that ruined the chance of a 2 state solution by building more settlements, which have been deemed illegal in international courts though? Thanks for your input, it's always good to hear other peoples outlook on these matters..
