I also like it, depending on the genre. If you think about it, singing without instruments to back up the voice existed long before musical instruments were invented, so having a deep appreciation for that style shows you have depth and understanding and a genuine love of music. 
Oh I would have to disagree with this statement, I would venture to say that basic instruments were used long before vocals. i.e. tribal drums And I'd have to disagree with this. We were born with voices, instruments/tools had to be invented. Seems kinda like saying we used vehicles before we walked. |

Odd as it may sound, I don't think I'd mind getting trapped in an elevator. It's like the perfect way out of having to do anything. Especially if I'm just returning from grocery shopping so I have food. And hell, if I have my iPod I might not press that emergency button for a while.
