Hey how'd your first day at your internship go Tanya???


it went good. boring, read a bunch of orientation stuff and got my id badge and parking b/c its in a hospital. it will definately be a challenging and emotionally draining but its what I plan on doing and doing policy/legislation in.

What's your major???? Good luck.

I had ONE for you and ONE for me and ONE for ???????? No just kidding... Just had one for you darling!!!! It was nice and limey!!!

Now I'm making some delicious soup w/ all kinds of veggies esp. to use up that huge head of cabbage I used to make the cabbage rolls with Sat. Anyone who missed them....it's your TOUCH LUCK.....cuz I invited YOU ALL!!!!

Thanks Sam....I did!!!! It went super well!!! It's going to be a fun class. Still have you know who...(the head banger!!!)....but he's doing wonderfully. He didn't even tantrum today. yawn yawn morning doubt if anyone is up yet lol only reason i is went to sleep at 730pm woke up at 1am lol. i will be around off an on today still on vacation still enjoying my time. hope you al being good miss ya all flowers flowers


I'm upyawn yawn yawn ....and ready to head out shortly. Now that I'm teaching in the Middle School instead of the Elem. I have to be to school by 7a.m.ohwell whoa , instead of 8:15a.m. That's been quite a chore for me to attain. If I wait too long to get on the road to go 17 miles....it then takes me 50min. to get there. So I'm heading out 1/2 hr. earlier to make it in 25min. Then I'll have an extra 1/2 hr. to get ready for the day. I do love that the kids board their buses at 2p.m., and not 3p.m.!!!:banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: I can then work in my classroom for a few hrs. and still be out by 4p.m.!!!!drinks

I gotta get out of here and go do something soon!!!!! I'm sick of cleaning and finishing unpacking. God I hate moving....seems like it takes me months to get unpacked. I can't stand NOT HAVING a SOCIAL LIFE....so unpacking gets put on the burner!!! So now I'm off to go do something. Maybe go listen to some of the bands playing in the park in the town I teach (17 miles)(which took me 50 min. to drive yesterday!!!!! Couldn't believe the traffic).

I am expecting a hetic morning... my son has been a royal pain in the @ss for 3 weeks now... because he will be going to kindergaten. He has been in head start or pre-school since he was 3. But its now a different school... and he has to wear an uniform... he does not want to go... I have tried all the parent tricks... the big boy speech.... he'll make new friends ... cool new playground... etc...

Well tomorrow should be interesting... and to top it off... I start my new classes tomorrow too.... and will be late to my first class b/c I didn't want to drop him off at latchkey on his first day.

oh well.... the joys of being a parent.


So (((Tanya))) How did your little boy do????


Never mind....I finally got to pg. 2 and read all the posts....sorry. Be patient with him, but consistent. If you take away something don't give in. It only teaches him to manipulate you until you give in the next time. Be fair...be firm...be loving....and spend time with him.

My son started HS last week and he made the transistion easily..Ok it helps he knows most of the freshamn class & is 6'0 tall.:laughing: slaphead


Hey there (((Storm))) My son is a freshman at college!!! And he's measuring in at 6'4"!!! Sz.13 shoe!!!! Tall and skinny as a rail (not like me!!!)

LOL, my son starts 2nd grade in the morning...he asked me if I would run him over with the car to break his legs so he won't have to go.


ohhhhhhhhhh that's sooooooooo sad!!!! So how did he do??? I teach spec. educ. and coming back to sch. is a HUGE transition for most of my students. New room, people, teachers, assistants etc...... praise him whenever and wherever you can. Help him w/ his work as to show him how much sch. means to you that he wants to be successful as well. Good luck!!!
