I have never considered it the other person to make me happy,
its up to me to make my own happiness and the other person is there to share it with you but in no way do I see it as ever putting my happiness in the other persons hands to set my mood

I can and do get along with my ex,I don't consider him a friend, I mean I cant just call him up and say hey guess what happened ,or lets go here, but we do get along and we dohavea son so it really helps that there is no animosity between us.
