What is a boot camp?

A boot camp is a very strict, highly structured facility where a parent would send a teen who is defiant, unruly, out of control. The child teen may possibly have started to experiment with illegal substances, and may even have some minor legal problems.

I was a single parent raising three children. I had ALWAYS told them that if I couldn't control their behavior, then I would give them to someone that could. They would NOT hang out on street corners or become involved in illegal activity.

What are your feelings about sending a child to Teen Boot Camp? We as parents are insulted to the idea of not being able to control our children. If anyone suggests that we allow someone else to take over the raising of our children, we become enraged. But the fact is, there are children out there that are totally out of control. What are the options for them?

They have said they have narrowed it down to an infection....a very POTENT infection. They had to stop the blood ressure meds in order to bring up his pulse rate...Than his blood pressure went up and that caused more problems...I have had one he[[ of a roller coaster ride

He's really sick baby...His blood pressure is super high but his pulse is down to 40...They have him on 2 blood pressure meds...high potent antibiotic, dyeretics, IV's, tubes, horns, beeps....it makes the head spin...To look at him in the bed...I have to keep remembering that he is only 24 years old. My heart breaks for him.
