Isn't the act of labeling something as "boring" a critique in and of itself?

Or: "subjectivity" requires a more or less arbitrary hierarchy of interest vs. non-interest (a Boredom Index)....it's meaningless, in any universal sense, but who can say it's "right" or "wrong"? Those are merely value assignments....
