Like Jen I too am proud of you. My ex has a drinking problem, i stayed with him for "the kids" thinking he would change. It is a hard decision, but once he started showing signs of violence I took the kids and left. It was and is a hard decision, but no one deserves to live in fear.

IF you are really afraid of him there are different avenues to take. MS Teddy has a great suggestion for domstic violence help centers. They can give you all the advice and support you need.

Stick to your guns...sounds like you made the right decision.

I agree with whatagirlwants. Just because there is a connection on line doesn't mean there will be in person. People come across differently via e-mail than they do in person sometimes.

I am new to my area, live around next to nothing to do. Being in the middle of a divorce on top of it I try to spend as much time with my kids as I can.

I will watch them when my kids are...I like laughing at all the idiots that are on them.
