I've seen those and that's why I like this site so much better. You can actually just talk to people in a normal conversation sort of way which is nice.

Pretty much what I was thinking too, sometimes I tend to let things go on forever because I don't get annoyed as quickly as I should. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt to often but I also do trust my instincts.

I was supposed to met this person last weekend. I sent them 4 text messages with no reply. Then yesterday I received four text messages from her. I did not answer those but I did answer the message she sent to me yesterday. She wanted to know how I was feeling. I gave an ambiguous answer about how I was feeling at that moment just not to be rude and not answer that message.

Don't know what her reason might be. She made contact with me first anyway. Last time I was in a similar situation, the girl turned out to be married still! Never got to involved with that one either.

I've been using dating site off and on for a few years now but still learning some of the culture that exist on them so please forgive me if I sound naive or clueless.

Ever make plans to meet anyone, like numerous times and every time you do, something amazing has happened to them and you never meet. At times you may go days without taking to them only to hear from them later and they have such a story to tell you and they couldn't get to a computer (or phone, cell phone even) to let you know earlier?

I'm generally a very patient person but I know when I'm being taken for a ride too. My question is, how long would any of you let it go on?

I have to agree with the rest of you. There's someone I've been talking to who disappears all the time! Then comes back wondering where I am.
