Heart of a Thunderstorm

The winds of doubts blow in turning my blue skies to gray...
The First flash of lightening brings pangs of pain...
The thunder rolls in with a moan of tears welling up inside...
My eyes like the sky open up with a flood of tears falling like rain...
The Storm of emotions rages on...
Lightening continues to flash as my heart is breaking...
Thunder rumbles in my ears as I am screaming...
Tears rush like a river down my cheeks...
As Darkness takes control...
As with all storms this one too will come to an end...
Morning breaks bringing the sun...
And I look up with new hope I can see a
Rainbow!

Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed with Fibromylgia 7 years ago. I do research periodically to see what new developments are coming about, does not always seem promising.

I still work a fulltime job, 50 hours plus some weeks. However, I have to say I have had to make some lifestyle changes to compensate for it.

I do not like taking drugs so I use meditation however, I do have to take the pain meds or else I can not move enough to work. And see how I can not afford to wait for disability which I was told can take any where from 6 months to 5 years to get what other choice do I really have.

I understand the pain and frustration that we all seem to be going through.

The hardest thing for me is that otherwise I look very healthy so people do not realize what is going on with me and/or they do not believe me.

Ocean of Life
On the Ocean of life there are many boats
each traveling at it's own speed.

Sometimes colliding into another and
traveling side by side if only for a brief
while or a long stride.

As the boats ride upon the tide they endure
storms as well as calm.
Along the way Sunrises and Sunsets come and
go blessing the boats with their beautiful
glow.

As the boats float along their paths their
waves ripple leaving memories on the sands
of time.
