It's a tough one for me to chose. There are many people I'd like to spend time with. I would love to spend a day with my Grandmother who died while I was young, she was a great woman and I'm sure I could learn a lot from her.

Thank you all for your posts, and I know that I should break it off with him to help in the long run, but at the same time, I don't want to give up on him, I wanna be there for him. I feel like if I give him time, he will see me for more than what he sees me as now. Probably a big mistake, but I will learn the lesson soon enough I suppose. But this may be pointless anyways, I might have scared him off. He did call when he said he would, and all that, but I don't know, I'm freaking out, need to calm down. I've read an entire book since Monday, it's the only thing that keeps my mind off it. Gotta find another. :) Breaking it off with him will only be the best thing for you. You also have to think of yourself and your well being. I know how you feel. I've been in your shoes before. He isn't going to treat you any differently than he has. |

My favortite thing about the holidays is getting together with the family. I enjoy the baking that I do. The cheesecakes and pies and tarts and brownies that I make are fun to enjoy after going through the work of making them, and watching the family enjoy what I make is just as rewarding
|

It sounds an awful lot like my first Ex. You don't need that in your life at all. You deserve much better. The best advice I can give you is to just move on and forget about him. Because you truly deserve better.

@soufiehere: no kidding! i've never found this level of community support anywhere online before, i wasnt expecting this. i've been visiting for one day and i'm already in love with all of you! @thayet153: jade has one ear that became folded over... so now i call her Earie sometimes... She is still adorable. Always have to be grateful for the company pets provide us. And they show their gratitude in their own ways. |

You need to love yourself before you can expect anyone to love you. You also need to believe in yourself and have faith in what you do. If you need someone to care for, other than yourself, get yourself a pet. A cat or a dog, or both. They are great company, especially cats (I may be biased having grown up with cats my whole life.) Then you'll have someone to care for and to protect. Good luck!

Being friends with someone who hurt you isn't an easy task. It usually isn't the recommended path, it just gives them more chances to hurt you. My advice would be to just walk away and forget about him. Move on, and find someone better.
