I don't think they planned on Steve and Miranda getting married, but then changed the plans later on, thats what i make of it... not sure though, but it bugs me lol... yeah I can't wait for the movie!!!

Ok, So Miranda and Steve have a baby together and name him Brady, which is Steve's last name. Later on, they get married. I doubt Brady would keep the last name Hobbs, seeing as his parents are married so would his name then be Brady Brady?
