I searched and there are a lot of recipes for pasta with scrimp and artichokes. Now I'm convinced I have to make it, something like this recipe below but substitute fresh tomatoes with sun-dried in an herbed, olive oil base.

PASTA WITH SHRIMP & ARTICHOKE HEARTS

1 tbsp. olive oil
1 red onion, sliced
1/2 tsp. garlic, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
Salt & pepper
1/2 lb. peeled shrimp
1 can artichoke hearts
1/2 lb. pasta, cooked
Fresh parsley, chopped
Grated Parmesan cheese

Saute onions until tender, add garlic and cook 2 more minutes. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper and heat 5 minutes. Reduce heat, add shrimp and simmer until they are pink. Add artichokes and heat through. Toss pasta until the sauce is blended. Garnish and serve with crusty French bread.

Sounds really good. Although I am not an artichoke fan. But You could substitute with something else. Sounds good. Let me know if u try it out.

I'm not sure about the artichokes either but wanted to broaden my horizons and try something new! I'll let u know how it turned out :)

Why do you feel the need to dress like a total slut for Halloween?

Please, please don't wear that when you go out with us. It is beyond tacky and I don't like being assocciated with it. Try to wear something your future kids could see in a photo album without being disturbed by it !!

I noticed that pretty much ALL the store costumes for Halloween this year are extremely sexy. I gave up looking for one to wear to work for our Halloween party.

Maybe you could ideas off the internet for a costume you could make on your own. I'm royalty, one friend is a Gold Digger wth safety helmet, another is Pippy Longstocking, another is a detective with a Trench Coat & hat, none of these are overtly tacky or costumes that have to be bought in a costume store.

Now there is one costume I don't like that brought me to my original comment though.

Good Luck!!

Love to cook....

Then you must love to clean it up too since you're a clean freak?

I actually do!! LOL!!

A man who cooks and cleans...YES !!!

Should we keep this vision going? I think we should :) Now what would you be cooking up? Do I get to participate or just watch you do it?

Would love it if you want to help...I love cooking something together...and I cook all kinds of stuff...

Actually I would really enjoy that :) Cooking with someone makes it so much funner.

Right now I am loving this recent discovery of sun-dried tomatoes in an olive oil base that I mix with pasta but it's missing something. I think the perfect added ingredient would be Shrimp Scampi, what do you think? My second choice would be artichokes but not sure since I'm not familiar enough with them.
