Wish I was handy with cars!! I can do a few small things but, I can't change the break pads or oil. Maybe not now, but I bet you could learn (it's easy) and do them better than most guys do. Both front brakes and oil changes are very easy to do. Rear brakes are a little harder, but not much. Some cars have discs in the rear too, so they are easy all around. Not only that but just think of all the money you will save working on your own car

Not able to find anyone to even talk to or even get a man to even chat with. It seems I am too old for them to even look at me or even chat for a while. I think I scare them off since I am working on my PhD and I am well educated and just want a simple person to chat with at times I am just a country girl with education that I can put aside at times Don't worry about those that run off because of your PhD. They are not worth it. You should be proud of it There's lots of people here to chat with. In time, you'll see, everything will work out
