The Weisman book poses so many possibilities. It's one of those books you want to read and then think about. Are we a reincarnation of a civilization that disappeared millions of years ago? It would explain Von Daaniken's supposed "Chariots of the Gods".... |

Premise of Weisman's book is: what would happen to Earth if humans just *poof* disappeared? What would happen to buildings, roads? Would wildlife take over?
Better question: if humans disappear, would we re-appear in 4 million years, give or take a mil? |

cool im mostly sci fi myself tho i try to get some real science in there every once in awhile Best science book of last year: "A World Without Us" by Alan Weisman. Might even be the best science book this century. |

I can't live without books. I'd rather be deaf. books on tape or brail i would have to learn brail is that how its spelled The vast majority of books aren't out on tape or in Braille. At least not the stuff *I* read....
