credit ratings effect everything else - our insurance, getting a job, buying just about anything, cell phones, going to the doctor... i wouldn't be surprised at all if someone thought it was necessary for a date too...

Things happen for a reason!! I found the love of my life and will be with her through thick and thin!!! Sometimes U have to realize that it aint gonna work!!! ...and start feeling controlling? I recently ended a relationship with someone, not from this site, who said he wanted me by his side at all times...I thought...isn't that sweet, though I'm not really a 'joined at the hips' kinda person...but then I discovered he meant it. He started picking apart my friends, didn't want to meet my family members, the last straw was when he 'ordered' me to get off Mingle...ya see how well ordering me to do anything work out for him!

What kind of things do you sacrifice to have other things in your life? For instance, I pay a ridiculous car payment so that I can have a fast car, and I gave up lunch so my son could go to after school science classes. What things do you give up in favor of other, more important, things?

51 years old and there are no babies around to snuggle. Sigh.

There are days I feel that I was born at the wrong time. I am either too old or too young. My morals are of a long ago generation, yet my contempories can't believe that I do not get bent out of shape when the kid goes by with his waist band around his knees. I just tell them, ehhh, I am fine if they leave me alone and I will leave them alone. I sure don't need some pert telling me I should be wearing velvet jogging suits. So I won't tell them to hike up their pants.

At 46 I find myself disgustingly (even appallingly, to others... ) more free with my thoughts, actions, decisions and focus....not having to bend or conform to a societal mindset of age related behaviours is so liberating!

I am younger than my youngest child, and older than dirt at times...and I don't give a rat's razoo what the world thinks..

I have collected 46 years of invaluable EXPERIENTIAL wisdom....that will hold me in good stead for the next 46 years...( whether I choose to share that wisdom with others is also liberating.
