I'd still send an email with the subject line, "It's ok, I understand." I would write a short message saying, "maybe our paths will cross again some day. Take care." I would then start to look for someone else to date. Sorry about this but if another person isn't ready and doesn't want to talk things out well, it's over.

But in all seriousness, Yamaha...if she went out with you even knowing you were not yet divorced, it wasn't that. It may have been some other reason and she just used that as the easiest out. I don't date married men and not really ready to date yet. I would like to keep you in my friend list since you are so close and seem nice. If yo havn't entered into a serious relationship by time your divorce is final, I would like a ride on your chopper!
I'm all for making friends! Cold beer on the lake, good live music, long bike rides, barbeques, threesomes... yea I'm ready for summer!!
