They are probable not happy with their own life and it makes them feel better to bring others down.
Just try not to let it bring you down since you know you are better then them.

I agree that I find it hard to open up. But maybe it wouldnt be so hard if the right person came along. I guess we'll see when it/if it happens... I am very guarded with my feelings.

Maybe you should add a little more of your likes/dislikes... besides football and older women. But hey if thats what you like then its a good thing you put it out there for people to know.

I know exactly how you feel. The same thing happened not to long ago to me. Everything was fine Tuesday and Saturday he emailed me and siad "he has been thinking" so who knows. He went out of town and called me totell me he made it safe, honestly I didnt expect to hear from him while he was gone. He always told me to call him when I could or he would be home at a certain time to give him a call. Then he turned around saying it was to much and kinda making excuses.If his feelings changed then he could have just been honest. I would rather have honest(even if its not what I want to hear) then the unknown. Anyways I was going to say now I know to do things different next time, but I was just being myself and if I cant be myself then.....

Well I am sorry for you, and I hope that he is "man" enough to call you, answer, reply back to you. Maybe does have deep feelings for you and is just scared.
