I understand where you are coming from Crystal, and I had the same issues. Like you I don’t believe in diets or counting calories etc as a balanced diet and exercise should keep us on the right path. I have a sweet tooth so I started keeping in lots of fresh fruit and low calorie yoghurt so I could get my ‘sweet’ fix, I also keep in lots of salad, which is obviously great at this time of year. I have managed to lose the few pounds I put on during lockdown, and that has made me feel more motivated and determined to carry on. I have also swapped to skimmed milk and decaf coffee and tea. Good luck Cafeine does have the property to augment the speed of burning ATP in the muscles. (Seems to be a cathalyser in that respect) In other words: cafeine helps augmenting prestations (like in running) and slimming down. Therefore, there is no need to decaf anything. :-) |
