What is chicken about a chicken friend steak The term "chicken-fried steak" first appeared in print around the year 1952. It's called "chicken fried steak" because the process of frying is like that of frying a chicken. I know that sounds about right, so it would be safe to say that there is also, (somewhere) chicken fried okra, chicken fried potatoes, chicken fried fish, chicken fried dill pickles, etc, etc... chicken fried anything!!!!! |

I've never had chicken fried steak. It is fantastic! It is a cubed sirloin dipped in buttermilk, and seasoned flour...and fried! Served up w/mashed potatoes and milk gravy and 1 or 2 additional vegetables and good old home made biscuits!! Yum Yum |

I guess they fry it like they would fry chicken wings or what not. Thats the only conclusion I could ever come up with. I thought that same thing, but then I got to thinking people fry a lot of things the same way...but they call it what it is. |

Dear Lord,
This past year you've taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze, My favorite actress, Farah Fawcett, My favorite singer, Michael Jackson, and My favorite salesman, Billy Mays. I just wanted to let you know that Obama is my favorite president. Amen |

Do you think internet dating is just a lazy way to meet ppl? What do you think the bennies are? It's not really a "lazy" way to meet people...there are (sometimes) a lot of work that still goes into finding, searching, sorting, contacting, etc, etc. I've been on the Net for 20+ years, (not all of that was looking for mate) and I've seen a lot of situations, and efforts (some of which have been my own) that were not successful, and some that were good to go! I've just about come to the conclusion that it is best to look in your local area...because that IS where you are. Why put all that effort in someone, way off in another country (of which most wouldn't invest the time/expense/travel to meet anyway...and again...some would). Bottom line...look as close to local as you can...even if it's on the Net...you never know where love will find you. JMO-If I still have one! |

how many take offense at Christians today? Just curious... there seems to be a lot of haters for those that believe in Jesus... and alot of disrespect... I am not about to get into why this or that with some you because I realize now that some of you do not have the faith that is needed to believe in the Holy God amd His Son. I am not ashamed to be a Christian. The NT does says if you lift up Jesus all men will be drawn unto you. Good post! |

Did'nt say it was easy Kim A lot of hard work but then I believed in my vows better and worse and all that Bs. But where are we if we do'nt believe in something ,so I tried would have worked if other truths did'nt come out plus the second affair .Sad part is she came from a broken family in the first place figured she woulda learned from that ! oh sunshine....not saying you were wrong to do that. Just saying I don't understand it. we all do what we need to do. I understand someone wanting to make it work. I just could never get past it to begin with. But if you gave another chance, it would never be the same again... I guess that is why I have 2 divorces under my belt...I don't give 2nd's either. It's not worth the pain! JMO-If I still have one |

That reminds me of the old saying:
First time, shame on you... Second time shame on me... I don't think anyone that cheats on their other, should EVER have that 2nd chance! If they didn't love you enough before it happened...then what makes you think they would love more! Don't make sense... JMO-If I still have one |
