To get back to what seemed to be becoming a point in the unmentionable thread. This place has changed tremendously. it started with the merger back when and does seem to be going further downhill. just doesn't seem to be as much fun as it once was IMHO. so I get the impression that "we" as nubies are not welcome? I mean I see that you joined a whole 7 months before I did but I am not new to this sort of format. Neither is most of the people posting. I started out many years ago and just like in real life you have your share of ass holes that will be on here. I have been to many NASCAR races but I have only seen a fight at one of them but does that mean I should stand in front of all 100,000 people and asked them to get the hell out because I seen a couple of dumb asses? Maybe this site isn't as fun as it once was way way back when you joined in 07 but please understand that when I read that "this site has gone downhill" I tend to feel like I am somehow invading your space. Sorry so many nubies are making life so miserable for so many of you "oldtimers" no new blood is good. it's just that with the good comes bad and the feel to the place is completely different. there's a heaviness here that was not before. sorry to the newbies but it just is. |
