There are very few with a normal lifestyle here. I keep to myself,
I have a few close friends the rest acquaintances. Between swingers,
bisexuals men and woman. The guys that are single know that every
weekend there is a new group of hotties coming in to party so one
night stands are all they are interested in. Sure I have met a couple nice guys but they either smoke like a chimmey or do not like
to drink. I do not find that a problem, but I like to have a glass of
wine or an after dinner dink and many that is a deal breaker. Havasu
just happened as far as life goes, I came here married in 2000 as a snowbird and little did I know you had to keep a chain on your husband. Its the story of everyone in this town. My neigbors are the best the are from ILL they are like my second parents. There daughter is the same age as me and lives 2 lots down and one lot over
from her parents. I am lucky as far as that goes, they have been there for me through everything. But then we have several sex offenders, the police were at the door today with a new list in the
area.. So the more private you are in Havasu, especially being single and living alone the better..

Its my bikni bottom, I just have a cover up over the top. I am sure
you have seen a bikni on a woman before..

That is part of the problem, I am two and half hours from Vegas
and almost 3 plus from Phoenix. Most men find that long distance.
Hell I was dating a guy from TX for 6 months. And drove out there
several times if I could not get a flight and he did the same. Then it depends on where in Cali you are looking at 4 hours with no traffic. Havasu is kinda in the middle of nowhere in AZ. The lifestyle here is not a normal so forget about looking to find someone local. I just recieve a letter from a gentlemen who told me he e=mail a woman for over a month, finally took it to the phone for a meet. He drove two hundred miles to meet her and she never showed or answered him again. Whats up with that? Someone is making the effort if you were no interested you, you do not play those kind of games with people.
That was just third one after this post of pretty much the same feeling.

I apprecite the advice, but as forward as I can be e-mailing men,
as most people I am not big on rejection. I just got through a year
of devoting my time to my ill father that I lost in June. I did not
have the time to consider or ever devote to a relationship. Now its
the next chapter in my life and I am ready to be with that special someone. I know he is not going to fall into my lap. I guess I
am somewhat old fashion, east coast, where the guy makes the move first. But again thank you for your responses..

Granted its only a short time, but I cannot believe that I have only
received a handful of e-mail and what 6 nudges. I am fairly attractive, advernturesome but I think I made a mistake in joining.
I have been on many dating sites and people want to meet people, I have found that is anything but true here. I mean no disrepect to the people of mingle but even attempting to join into a forum is like getting a dog bite that you really do not want to go back to where you were bitten. I joined and when my time is up, I wish I could say it was a pleasure. I find it more of a blog site than a real dating site.
I think something is really missing here. Its just an opinion and
everyone has one.. Good Luck to Mingle....
