It warms my heart to see an old couple who are well into their 70's-80's that still hold hands and I love to see when the man will open the door for his wife. Both simple gestures but such a sweet thing. Just being happy with each other, I used to always think if I lost everything at least I'd have my wife and kids, of course no wifey now but anyway, that's my sappy input to this! Yes I do believe in true love.

I dragged my tired butt out last night to go see a couple bands I've been following for 6 years now, they're hard working and spend their life on the road, some of the coolest, friendliest and fun people to be around. Really hoping for the best for all their hard work. Here's a video I shot of their last song they played last night.

Yetnotherusername1 I see you have taste in classic club music. new wave, pop, and ect. you right those are great memories. I give you example, I remember when Frankie Goes To Hollywood's " Relax" released. I was a pre teen and going to the jersey shore of wildwood, new jersey, eating cotton candy on the pier, that song came on it was a fun time for music. I have that 12 inch, of course tainted love is one that everyone knows but it's one that I never get tired of! I was 10 in 81 when that came out but loved that song immediately. I'm a huge Devo fan and have acquired a decent vinyl collection of them, 12 in all. You listen to kraftwerk? Those guys were the pioneers of electronic music, pretty chill listening! |

I often add more songs to my spotify playlist. on my smartphone I have the best mp3 music downloader app. due to space issues I carefully download the best of mixture of music give you example. Hip Hop - various golden age stuff Electronica- daft punk, kavinsky, chemical brothers,& more. 70's Funk- The Gap Band, & more. 80's Pop- " Genesis, Seal, Depeche Mode, The pet shop boys, Laura Branigan, Howard Jones, Madonna, Tears For Fear & More. House/Dance- Ananda Project, Deadmau5, Moby, Gabor Deutsche, David Bowie, Inner City, Technotronic, Snap, C&C Music Factory, and more Actually heading to buy some vinyl in a few, been collecting 80's new wave and punk. Always great putting that stuff on and time travel in my mind, so many great memories! I'll let you know if I find some good stuff today! |
