So much for seperation of church and state? I remember having to say the bloody thing before class every day of the year. I always thought it was a very strange thing to do on a daily basis. I went to catholic school so eventually thought it was just part of the indoctrination.

Just goes to show you that what you think might never happen, can happen.

I remember having to say it as well in Elementary and Junior High everyday...after that I stopped and now I don't even think about it.

I think everyone should give firefox, chrome, and opera a test drive. I'm using chrome right now, and most of the time its amazingly fast.

i tried Chrome but IMO it's not that user friendly.i couldn't access the bookmarks,options....etc as easy as i can Firefox,so i quit using Chrome after about 1 day

Chrome is great for people that don't need a bunch of different plugins. It's definitely faster than all the other browsers. But once Chrome can officially support Plug-ins, I can see alot of FF plug-ins being ported to it. But...the question then...would those plugins bog down and slow Chrome?

Shortly after reading this topic I stumbled across a firefox optimizer:

http://www.ixibo.com/2009/02/firefox-ultimate-optimizer-2009/

I have never used it, can't vouch for it, but there it is for those who want to give it a try.

I wouldn't recommend downloading that..I have never heard of that and i've been an avid FF user for years! Comments are saying it's most likely malware, which attempts to download other malware or trojans onto your computer.

I take that back, do NOT download it. I did some research and found it featured on the Kaspersky forum, which is one of the BEST Antivirus programs around....It says it is not a trojan, but it is an advertising tool, see here:

"ptimizer.exe_ - not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.FireOptimizer.b

This file is an Advertizing Tool, it is detected by
extended databases set. See more info about
extended databases here: http://www.kaspersky.com/extraavupdates

Please quote all when answering.

so, it's bad, don't use it etc."

See forum here: http://forum.kaspersky.com/lofiversion/index.php/t51946.html

As long as the add-on is located at the Mozilla Add-ons website and has been featured in a Highly reputable blog or website, than I'd say go for it. But doing a google search I am not finding it on any reputable site but Ghacks, and even they don't know if it's legitimate. Please don't download it. lol.

Stress can do alot to your body and your dreams are your bodies way of sorting out everything you see everyday. It's not anything that will hurt you, at all. They are dreams and everyone has them, although most do not remember, we are still having them.

When you encounter fearful dreams and you know what you are doing in them, try doing to them what they are doing to you. Give them the evil eye. It's your dream and you never know, perhaps you've been battling with something that is unconsciously bothering you and by facing it head on you may just feel better the next day, like a "relief".

Although, I do realize that dreams can represent the "future", by all means I have had those dreams. Dreamed once of a police chasing after me, the next day I got a ticket for running a stop sign! It does happen...But something as vivid as this sounds a lot like stress.

Here's something you can practice nightly before entering dreamland.

When you are comfortable and ready for bed, lie down on your back, your legs stretched out and your arms out beside your side. Take a few deep breathes, close your eyes and envision a large ball of light. This light can be something similar to the sun, it can be a ball of electricity or a glowing ball. However you want to imagine it.

Next, imagine that the ball is flowing slowly over your body, starting at the very tip of your head. Keeping your eyes closed and your body still, then imagine that the ball is flowing slowly through the rest of your body. Make the ball go slower through the areas that you are having problems, perhaps headaches? Stomach pain?

Just keep imagining that its going through your entire body, down to the tips of your fingers and, traveling through your blood down your legs and into your feet.

If you concentrate specifically on the ball and what you want it to do to your ailed body, then you should start feeling a "tingling" sensation. If you feel nothing that's ok. Just keep trying.

This is best done when you are alone and is meant as a "cleansing" for your body before sleep. It also acts as a "recharge". Kind of like how you recharge a battery.

It may take well over a week to master, but you should begin to feel a difference and maybe your dreams will calm down as well.

I did this alot when I was, "ahem" into other aspects of religion that I will not get into anymore. I did it along side meditation and I felt pretty good, better than before.

There could have been an issue before you turned your computer off, so once you turned it on again it crashes. Best thing to do is disable plugins, one at a time, and clear ALL of your history in everything!

Then try it..start enabling add-ons and see if you have anymore problems. Also be sure to update the add-ons by "checking for updates"... If it continuously crashes, you might need to uninstall, wipe the file completely and re-install.

Easiest way to clean your microwave...

Put a cup of water in the microwave and turn it on to make the water boil. It makes steam inside of the microwave and than you can just wipe it out. All of the hard cooked on debris inside just comes out with one wipe. No scrubbing. I know, it helps if food is covered before nuking, but sometimes all the nagging in the world does no good on teenage boys...laugh

Never thought of that, great idea! LOL

I've been getting into the MMO games lately myself, I haven't heard about the above two stated. The I play most lately is Dungeons & Dragons Online.

I tried that one, not too bad.
Indeed, since it's free to play now.

When I first played D&D Online it wasn't free...it was $15 a month...since when did they change that? I tried to sign up for a free account but there was an error and I never got an email...so I will try again tomorrow

My love for my sons is.. I learned unconditional love and forgiveness from them, not my own mother. My mom hates me sad2

LadyLid...Maybe it's not really hate, maybe it's something she never did with you that makes her feel guilty. My mom acts like she hates me too...I guess parents are just funny like that???

I know she doesn't HATE me..the word hate means to reject..and she does reject me when I don't do as she would like me to do..that is conditional love. Thank God I had my sons to teach me...
I guess now were those funny acting parents...slaphead

Sorry, didn't know it was "reject"..I know what it's like to be rejected as well by my own mom. flowerforyou My son maybe young but he's taught me what real love is and I have the rest of my life to learn alot more from him.

As difficult as the all consuming years were when my boys were young..all worth it because THEY have taught me unconditional love and forgiveness.
What a wonderful gift...never do I wonder WHY..are they here with me anymore.

When my oldest turned 25 last summer he apologized for giving me such a hard time..I told him thank you for every minute because of all he has taught me. We cried and hugged...
Was a very cool tender moment! happy

I bet it was rewarding, not only the fact that he could apologize to you for all he did to you, but realize that all you did for him was out of love.

usually, but unconditional love doesnt mean unconditional support. I love mine unconditionally but I wont support any decisions they make to do wrong. I will still love them though, right or wrong.

This is a very good point. Often people think that when someone does not support whatever they want to do they don't love or have their back. Sometimes the hardest thing to do, but responsible and loving thing is to say no, your wrong, or I won't be a part of this. Parenting often is about doing the hard stuff.

Yes it is...saying NO can be the hardest thing when it comes to love.

  A mother's love is always unconditional

no so..my mother has many conditions based on her beliefs..she holds back her love when I disappoint her, she always has.

Sounds alot like my mom...I guess the only thing we can do is just remind them that we love them, no matter what? flowerforyou

yep..and be grateful because we know what
it's like to be a mom..and forgive.... flowerforyou

I was wondering...if we can be a mom, forgive and still love...why can't our mom do the same? What is so hard about sucking up the reality and saying "i'm sorry" and just learning to view your kids for who they are and nothing else???
