At times whining is a sign of weakness some just need to suck up grow some balls and change the things that they do not like.... they are not going to change by themselves nor is anyone going to solve the problems for them. At times we have to step up to the plate and take charge............ bigsmile

BINGO!

A strong woman is not one who thinks of herself as strong, she is appreciated by her man that she is a strong woman.

I have to agree with this assessment, as I never forget how blessed I am to have a woman like this. Devastating albeit heroic though it may be some of the hardships many women, including my own, have faced, they're not the Lone Ranger. That's not said to be disrespectful in any way, it's just to say that in the grand scheme of things, *you* are not the only woman in the world who has faced adversity and come out on the other end with your head held high. With all the detrimental curveballs that my lady has had thrown at her through her life, and she still stands strong, that's what retains my admiration for her. However, what impresses me the most about her is, she knows her limitations. She is very much aware of what she is and is not capable of handling herself, and is not afraid to ask for assistance when she needs it. She has no need to put on a front for anybody, least of all herself.

Wow. How very kind. Thank you! flowers

I think there seems to be confusion over being a strong woman and being a bully. A strong woman handles the ups and downs that life gives with grace and dignity, picks herself up, dusts herself off and continues on. She doesn't run over men for the sake of proving her strength. Vulnerability seems to be what is missing.

Too true, but in order to be vulnerable, one must be willing to trust as well.

Exactly. If one can't do that, then they have no reason to be in a relationship in the first place.

I love KISS. Always have. The fact that they're still going as strong as they are clearly speaks to their fan base, AND talent.

We have many soulmates, probably millions, don't believe the myths. You have lots of soulmates, maybe white, black, hispanic, asian, indian, polynesian, arabic, or whatever. What is true is that nothing lasts forever, but you can always make it last as long as you can.

laugh I sure would like to know where you get your reference material!

The classic Kiss album "Kiss Alive" is not a true "live album" as that a lot of the tracks were overdubbed in the studio.

This is not a fact, it's only speculation. At the time this double live album was released, Casablanca Records was fledgling extremely badly, and label president Neil Bogart was taking a huge chance and risk on even releasing this album at all. The label didn't have the finances to pay the band much more than meager earnings, and they couldn't do any large amount of corrective overdubbing even if they had wanted to, simply because the budget wouldn't allow it. As such, there is very little done in terms of any studio overdubbing corrections on this record.

VH-1 has always been notorious for "inflating the truth" about artists or bands on their Behind The Music show, going so far as to invent scandal or controversy if there is none to be found about the artist(s) in question. Such was the case here.

laugh laugh I was waiting for you to see this one.
