I waited for my daughter to be ready and she was almost 7 when she asked
me.It's her body and well I am here to support and guide her. I made
sure her decision was well thought trough and she never regretted it
ever since that day. In fact she was so ready to have them she never
even budged and just gave a grin when it was over after getting her ears
pierced. She was too happy to even think of the pain lol

That a poet who publishes his work cannot be copyrighted.

Now I ain't sure if it's like that everywhere? But I know in
New-Brunswick Canada it's like that and well I have to find out about
Nova Scotia.

My second question: Why is it that other artistic venues in the
literature world such as songwriter can be copyrighted while others are
not?

I know songs that are only a few lines long.. ha...cheers!

I would gladly share my writings and I mean the point of publishing is
to share with others, but doesn't copyright protect you from a lot as
well?

My question arises as I am helping someone publish a poem novel and well
as per the information we received poems are not copyrighted.

Now how about if we mailed the original and kept it intact but used the
copy to work with? wouldn't the mailed copy count as a copyrighted poem
and well if needs arises where you need to debate well you have the
original copy dated and delivered to yourself and left unopened of
course to keep it copyrighted! I thought I had heard that somewhere....

And well the poet is my dad...will let you all know how it turns out!
