My first Christmas alone I had some friends that came to my rescue. They came over and decorated my house like I always did. We had a huge party. Actually we had a few of them. My parents came to my house that year. First time ever. My daughter started a new tradition with me. Christmas Breakfast. My kids were grown by this time.

I always have loved Christmas. It's time to spend with family and friends. I've had my sad years but I've had many more happy years and I try to focus on that. Thanks for the well wishes. I hope you have a wonderful time preparing and celebrating this season.

Hi Carol, was your day as bad as you expected?
First time in my career I had to have an administrator come in and talk to my kids about their behavior. I do think things will improve now, however.
