"They shoot you a dirty look!".
I know the feeling. If only it was actually dirty. I know that look very well. You feel like they're going to stab you. It's quite an evil stare. Jealous is pointless. It can ruin a good thing. And that might be because she IS jealous. You can only reassure insecure people for so long. It's not your problem. I just wouldn't bother wasting man hours, trying to prove myself. She sounds a tad paranoid. It depends on how many more times your willing to put up with it. Tell her to come back in about ten years, after she's finally checked herself into a psychiatric hospital. And when she's got her prescription for Prozac ;) |

I'm normally up front with the person. I put it across in a polite way. I don't want to hurt his feeling. I usually say something like "Sorry, I just don't feel I'll be able to continue this. Thanks all the same, though. I enjoyed our chat". If you're going to let someone down, at least put it over in a way that isn't insulting. After all, they made the effort to come and talk to you. It would be worse if they hadn't have even bothered turning up.

I choose sex, because it really cheers me up. Nothing like a good..... err......you get the picture.

I do, because there's no point in me thinking about sex, until I'm in another relationship. What I mean is, my mind will torture me about it, so out of sight, out of mind. Especially when it comes to sex. I just see no point in keeping that stuff around, if I end up single again.

I only treat people how they treat me. If they show me they can't be trusted, I very quickly erase them out of my life for good. There's no need to carry on a friendship just for the sake of it. I don't think many do stick to their words. I find it arrogant and selfish, to plan things with someone, but then just abandon all of it, without even an apology. People like that obviously have problems. Not that I know what kinds of things they're going through. Not sure I want to know. . It's pointless keeping a friendship going, with an ignorant person.

Why do you think I only watch light-hearted TV shows? . Violence is taking over TV. I've even stopped watching traditional well-known soaps, such as, 'Coronation Street', 'Emmerdale', 'Eastenders', because as well as getting rid of most of their long-term actors/actresses, the plot lines are so exaggerated. It feels like a farce just from watching them. Those kinds of shows make me feel down. I only carried on watching them, as I got older, because I used to watch them with my mum. We used to watch them together. I think my sisters are now doing that with her, as I moved out. I think nothing much of these blood and gore fests. They all look the same. All of the trailers you see for these modern-day movies, are just as bad. They all seem to have the same idea, which always seem to be about murdering someone.

Two years later.

I'm hoping that in the next two years, I'll be able to live with my best friend. I can't guarantee it will happen, but I know how important they are to me. We used to live together, so I already know what they're like to live with.

I'm just not that sure that a certain ex, hasn't tried to pull the wool over my eyes. There's clues of it everywhere I go. He needs to get over me. It's beyond stupid. Unnecessary stress that isn't needed.

If every other man, thought the way you did, about fat women, the men would leave their women, as soon as she gets pregnant. I think you're a time bomb waiting to happen.

I suppose I can always go live in a castle, and get my next man beheaded, if he starts annoying me.

Friday night !!

In my younger years, I went to nightclubs on Friday nights, but sometimes that stops when you get older. It depends on you and what sort of friends you have. It also depends whether you all still want go, due to having a family, and getting married. The busier you are, the less time you get for socialising. These days we all sit around, playing cards, and watching football. Still nice though. Just that the situations change, and you have to adapt to changes in life.

I'll go onto YouTube, and watch some of the old Saturday morning shows, that used to be important, as part of my weekends. Sometimes I watch old Saturday night shows, too. They call them family shows. The ones I used to watch with the family.

I'm sort of lost for words, as to how to react about it. I just can't find the words. That's why I said nothing back, when you told me. It doesn't mean that I don't care. It's trying to know what to say. I didn't want to come across as being typical. I knew you wouldn't have wanted that. It was just easier to nod at what you told me. I don't want you constantly thinking about how ill you are. I want to make sure you're cheered up. This is why I hardly talk to you about it. Me, asking you, how you are, is just that, but if you ever want to talk about your illness, feel free. I understand that it's hard to take it in. I think we all find it just as difficult to know you've got it.

In fact, single men always seem to find me, when I'm least ready for love. Ironic. Though better that way, than never finding a new lover. Strange world, but I never claimed to be normal, so it might aswell be.

which why I am new here. She knows there is no coming back this time. Have you experienced a partner having an affair ? It makes me feel physically ill just thinking about it, but yes, he did. Right in front of my eyes. He was a bit too laid back. He didn't exactly make much effort. Anyway it's not like our mutual friends didn't know about it. They used to tell me what a pig they thought he was, so he's tarnished his reputation. Funny, he was always asking me what I thought of him. I guess even the tiniest compliment can go to someone's head. I was soon out of there. |

I think maybe it could be because, if it was so easy to find, we may not appreciate it as much. Shame on all those previous men who took me for granted.
