I know I need to forgive him, it'll just take some time. I would give him another chance if he even wanted me, but he doesn't, so that's out the window. I feel anger and sadness all at the same time....I wish I didn't have to see him...then I could heal and forgive him easier. You should not give forgiveness. It is earned. Until he earns it he is lower than the underside of a pile of snake sheet. I don't buy Christian forgiveness any more. It empowers people to do bad things to others! Forgiveness is not what empowers people to do bad things to one another. Each person is free to make their own choices regarding anything in their life. Additionally, Forgiveness and Justice are independent of one another. In a sense forgiveness is my acceptance of their personal freedoms. It does not mean I agree with their choices, simply that I acknowledge that it was their choice to make. Forgiveness allows us to move past wrongs done to us and not dwell in our own misery. Forgiveness is done for the forgiver, not for the forgiven. just my $.02 As to the question posed, like many others before me... I was used for my paycheck. |

My daughter will be five in a few weeks. The other morning I was getting her up for school and she told me "I have to wait for the eggs to finish cracking first"...
Sleep talking is something that both my ex and I have done, it can be good fun to talk back with someone doing this. I asked her "What eggs?" She replied "I am helping the baby birds to hatch" then she said something about birds and butterflies. No wonder she wakes up so happy and is always in a good mood, she dreams about birds and butterflies. |
