We all make decisions in life.

Regrets don't make them any easier.

Regrets don't don't teach.

Action does.

I completely agree!

The only problem is if you don't learn from your actions due to the hope of a different outcome. slaphead

Then again that defines an insane person: Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result =oP

Thanks to everyone who replied! I think the answer was pretty clear (that ship has sailed--pun intended lol). I just didn't want to make it without considering all my options first. smile2

Most of you guys don't know how it works.

You can cancel and replace one passenger, as long as one original passenger stays on the booking. I work for Princess Cruises, so I know my stuff.
The only big problem is if you booked airfare.

Also, if a 3rd passenger in the room cancels out, it is usually a full reimbursment for their fare.

What cruise line are you sailing on?

If I end up going, this would be cruise #3 for Carnival. It would be the ship Imagination. I heard it was remodeled and I was elated about going ( I love cruises!). I just have my doubts (obviously) about going because I'm a firm believer in "It's not what you do, it's who you're with".

By yourself or with him and his friends? Second question, who paid for your share?

Personally, I wouldn't go and spend my vacation with my ex and his friends, especially sharing a cabin and knowing his feelings for someone else. If you paid for it, the gentlemanly thing to do would be for him to reimburse you. If he paid for it, let him take someone else or eat the expense.

JMO flowerforyou

I paid for my share. My idea was just to enjoy the cruise by myself and just share the room. But then again I still have feelings for him...

I'm in a bit of a pickle and would like some thoughts on the matter.

Here's the synopsis:

Boy meets girl. They like each other and begin a relationship. They plan a cruise together (and plan on going with the boy's friends [all married couples] whom the girl doesn't know). Boy and girl get their own room. Time goes by and boy breaks up with girl because he still has feelings for his ex (even though it's been over a year). Boy and girl agree to stay friends (even though they still like each other).

Here's the problem:

The cruise is paid for (and is 2 months away); should the girl still go on the cruise? what

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! =o)

Oh, yes! But it's the way the squirrels and chipmunks look at me that makes me feel REALLY uncomfortable.

Bottom line: stand up for yourself, respect yourself, don't take mistreatment from anyone, (while being nice) don't be a doormat.

Men love bit**es... chicks dig @$$holes... it's the same malarkey. People are stupid and aren't even capable of choosing the "right" person for them. Big friggin' deal.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~***~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

People don't seem to be reading the above quoted bottom line... The term "Bi*ch" is used as a catch phrase, a hook, to get people to read the book and not in a negative connotation frustrated. So far any one that has seen this book has laughed and agreed.

I guess my thread should be rephrased: Why do men love strong women? What attracts a man to a woman that knows what she wants, how she wants it, when she wants it and the way she wants it? spock

Define Bit!@. A woman who is strong and takes up for herself? A woman who is unafraid to go after what she wants? A woman who will not allow herself to be devalued, disrespected or degraded? A woman who defends herself and all she loves with her words and her actions. A woman who will gaze into your eyes when you call her a Bit!@ and then wink at you.

Ok, I'm a Bit!@.

That's not how I define it...I actually respect those characteristics. I was thinking more along the lines of someone who kicks and crys on the ground when they don't get their way...

For the sake of this discussion, the book defines "b**ch" as follows:

"A b**ch is not a woman who speaks in a harsh tone of voice. It is not a woman who is abrasive or rude. She is polite but cler. She communitcates directly with a man, in much the same way men communicae with one another. In this way, it is easier for a man to deal with her than with a woman who appears too emotional, because the emotional sensative type of woman confuses him. The b*ch knows what she likes and has an easier time expressing it directly. "

clear* I'm sorry about my typos. They're bad, I know slaphead

Men dont like Bit%7es.....any more than women like Bastar&$
The book should be renamed... "Why Boys Like Little girl Bitc%$"

Its that the immaturity... brings out the game playing...simple enough!

I'm guessing no one has even heard of the book spock .

Book quote:
"This isn't about playing a game. It's about understanding human nature and behaving accordingly. A man will always want what he can't have. When a man meets a woman she seems nonchalant, it becomes a challange for him to win her affections."

Men (and women alike), don't act like you don't like a challange. If a woman hands herself on a silver platter, you are not-without a shadow of a doubt- going to respect her or want to be with her. No one values a freebie the same way one would value something they desired (but couldn't have immidiatelty) and had to work extra hard for. (ie some one giving you a car VS working for months at a job just to save up enough money to give a down payment for the same car.
